[Dailydrool] Respectfully disagreeing on Prez Puppies

I think you guys have a nice idea but I think you are forgetting something.
Shelter or Rescue dogs would be perfect, BUT
Obama and his family are not going to be training or probably even
acquiring their own dog.
Some breeder will send them a puppy of a breed they have shown interest in.
The staff-- secret service agents, staff writers, maids, tutors--- and the
kids-- are going to be training this puppy of whatever breed or breeds.
Honestly now, think about the Secret Sservice letting Obama trot outside
alone at 3 in the morning to let the dog relieve itself. (Or his wife or
kids.) Unless the dog is an already trained K-9 dog, this would make me
really nervous for our newly elected President and his family.
I think they have a right to chose their own pets, and besides, Nigel says
he won't go without Llewis and Llewis says he doesn't want to live in a
house where he might not be able to find the kitchen.
