[Dailydrool] Sophie is at the Bridge

Yesterday afternoon Maggie and Molly said good-bye to their sister Sophie (the CAT!). She had been very ill since May and was very tired from all she had been through and too tired to go through any more. We had to make the decision to set her free even though our hearts were breaking. We were all at the vets office and all said our good-byes. Our doctor said to us "I feel like I let you down". She didn't ...we know she did all she could. She was as broken up as we were.
The house sure doesn't feel the same and the girls are looking for their sister everywhere. It is a sad time but I know we did the right thing.
Go with God, Sophie. Run and play but don't go too far...we will be joining you one day.
