[Dailydrool] Peeing on the bed

My Sophie peed on the bed for a few months when we first brought her
home, and we had her urine checked, ran all kinds of tests, and found
out that there was nothing at all wrong with her. Between what the vet
told me and from other drooler's comments, I discovered that it was
because she was marking her territory. She still does it now and then
but only on her big round bed and only when she senses that my other
basset, Diva, is trying to make that her bed for the evening. Maybe
he's doing it because your son is getting older and he sees him as
another male in the house and he's trying to be alpha dog? I'm not sure
exactly why they do this, but at least you know you're not alone! I'd
say keep the door to his room closed and don't let the dog in there,
that's what we did!

Happy Thanksgiving to everyone and lots of healing drool to everyone who
needs it, especially the little deer that Judy wrote about...I see deer
in the mornings on the side of the road sometimes and it just breaks my
heart. The girls and I will be praying that the poor little deer didn't
suffer much and we're also thankful that you were ok, Judy!
