[Dailydrool] GGBR Fleece coats

Deb,

The way they fit involves a T shape piece that comes from the neckline,
between the legs and then widens to be fastened by two velcro pieces to the
sides of the coat. They go back just far enough to leave room for little
boys to do their p-mail! So, they do cover most of the tummy area! They are
a single layer fleece, so cosy but not up to arctic cold!

*HOWEVER*, we are almost out of Large coats. I recommend that you contact
our fantastic volunteer, Fran Madden, to discuss the fleece patterns that
are left, and not just to go straight to the website to order. Send emails
to me and I'll pass them to her (don't know if she'd want her email going
out on the Drool!). Tell her you saw on the Drool that we were running
short on the large ones. If your basset is 45lbs or less, you may get away
with a medium!

Hope that helps,

Addy

Well, little Sean (all 55lbs of him) gets cold. He shivers if it's below 60
degress (a boy after
my own heart). Unfortunatley for him (and me!), we live in Western Pa where
it does get below 60
pretty often! I did buy him a coat at a dog show which he loves to wear,
but I was wanting to get
him another one as a back-up when his current coat is in the wash. I really
like the ones on the
GGBR site, but was wondering if they cover the whole belly of the hound or
is there just a little
strap there? With all the snow we get here, I'm wanting to keep his tummy
warm too.

We hope everyone has a safe and Happy Turkey Day!

Deb and Sean
