[Dailydrool] Heartattack and Thanksgiving

HI all,   I just wanted to say Happy Thanksgiving to you all!  
We have much to be thankful for here, despite some painful situations this past week in rescue.

I wanted to also share my heart attack moment today.
I was out poop scooping as I do several times during the day, when I come across something that looks like a squirrel body, sort of partially buried, near the fence.  I am freaking out,  I do not like to find dead things like this in the yard, since I would need to figure out who did it, and with 13 looking at you like, it wasn't me, mom....I would never know.  Anyhow, after looking at it for several minutes and feeling very bad for whatever it was,  I finally nudged it,  no movement at all.  I was more sad than ever, although I don't know how I would have helped it had it been still alive.  Anyhow,   "it" was the leg of a stuffed toy I recently got for Jenny.   As grateful as I was, I could have killed whoever buried it as it put me through the ringer of emotions for nothing!
