[Dailydrool] Quiet

It is so quiet here I can hear everyone breathe.  No boys home--just mom and the bassets.  Marley is hiding under the covers upstairs.  She loves to stay hidden a lot of the time.  Maggie just finished showing me her hidden stash of things from the trash.  She has a little ring of treats behind the easy chair that she can lick and chew on at her leisure. I need to do some housekeeping soon.  She also keeps her bone stash hidden until she needs a fix and then hauls out as many as she can to chew on like there is no tomorrow.  It's a wonder she has any teeth left.  Ninja and Marley don't really care for bones that much.  They would much rather have a good piece of chicken any day.  
 
 
I got a jolt in the mail today.  It was the bill for when Sunny was pts.  We didn't pay it that day but I went in and paid it a week or two ago.  It just made me feel so bad about her.  I called the vet and they said it must have been sent right before I came in to pay.  The postmark was yesterday.  It just kind of upset me to see it again.  
 
 
We are sending snooters and sleepy drool to all in need.
