[Dailydrool] Long Island Picnic and the trailer moves on!

It is me, Nudgie. The happy little senior guy around here. (Taco went 
home...) Last Sunday Cakie and I were abused. We had to stay home while the 
slaves went to Long Island. I think they call it that cause it was a pretty 
long day for Cakie and me...but vetlady said Cakers should stay home and it 
would have made her crazy if I went wifout her. Besides.....we spend most of 
the day in our pen while the slaves sell stuff.

...anyhow, they came home smelling like some of our fwiends. I definately 
sniffed GM Thelma Lu on her hands....and hot dogs....harumph! ...but they 
also brought back the money box (thanks again Auntie XB Sharon...) and I 
smelled some green. Which is good for the paw hounds of Tri-State Basset 
Rescue.

So thanks to Auntie Walli who worked real hard, and her Mike and her kind 
team of volunteers for all the stuffs they did....and to Auntie Walli and 
Auntie Jackie for breaking the bank and putting a serious dent in the 
trailer full of basset crap. Last spring the crowd did not buy too much and 
the two aunties decided to pawsonally remedy that, wif some help from some 
other fine shoppers. A nice brisk day cleaned out the supply of embroidered 
sweatshirts entirely! (Love cool clear basset event weather...good for 
sales!)

AHEM. I second hand sniffed Auntie Sandy Gera (She thought up and made kewl 
pawprints), Auntie Kathy Riker, Auntie Sue Mason, Auntie Ellie, Uncle Fred, 
Auntie Sharon Wilder and Auntie Amanda. All of whoood made it from NJ, 
Pennsylvania and the mountains of NY....so to all those nice folk on Long 
Island who said, "NJ? It is too far...." PHOOEY! Come BoardWaddle next April 
17-18....and plan on Auntie Donna's Metro Bash in two weeks.....the trailer 
still has lotsa basset crap, including new pwitty shiny things! Jewelry, a 
few surprises and the cast brass BOOK ENDS ARE HERE!! Ordered last January, 
the slow boat arrived in August.  Plus da pendants! Got size 8 feet? 
HEHEHEHE. Bring your checkbook and see the she slave. (Better bring your own 
sweatshirt unless shirt guy is reaaaaal fast. Us do have some embossed heavy 
denim!)
