Josh, Sunny's boy came home last night for a few hours. We didn't talk about her. The wonderful thing is, All three girls think he is the greatest thing since roast beef. You have never heard such caterwaulling as when he walked in the door. They almost knock him down with all their excitement. I'm glad they did, although I am sure he still missed his Sunny girl.

He also brought the kitties. He has two of the most beautiful black and white cats I have ever seen that he has raised since they weighed less than a pound. They are brothers named Picasso and DaVinci. Josh brought Mattie too. She is a tiny scrap of a kitten who is absolutely fearless. Within a minute Ninja was after her and there was a whole lot of hissing and smacking going on. Mattie one, Ninja 0. Marley and Maggie weren't brave enough to ruffle the little squirt's feathers. She spent a lot of her evening on my shoulder or lap. I am the only person here that is allergic to cats. I was almost unable to breathe but the time they left but they had a good visit so I didn't care too much.

We are having trouble getting Marley and Maggie to eat. My husband is wrapped around Marley's little paws. I found him on his hands and knees on Saturday pretending to eat Marley's food. I wish I had had the camera. He doesn't know I am writing about this. Marley ate after growling a bit around her bowl. He even tried it tonight with Maggie and she ate a little. I don't know what has gotten into them. They certainly aren't getting any skinnier. Ninja has not stopped eating and eating and eating. She is pleasantly plump. Not too bad at 59 pounds. She is just very cuddley. Nobody is acting sick, just not hungry. I guess this too will pass.

Marley has lost it. She is laying on her back and growling, barking and squirming back and forth like a possessed creature. I need to get it on film. The other two just sort of watch the show. None of our other dogs have done this. Just makes her unique.

I went to pay the vet bill for Sunny's last visit. They said we could pay later since we were so upset. I finally got around to it today. It cost $52.17. I expected more. Just 52 dollars to put her to sleep. I wanted to cry but I'm not sure why.

Snooters and drool to all in need.
Ninja, Marley, and Maggie
and the Mom
