[Dailydrool] drooling question

Hi all - 
 
Our puppy is 13 weeks old and does not drool ... like at all. Do puppies usually drool? And if he isn't drooling now, is it likely he'll grow up to a dry-mouthed basset?
 
Hearing about your expereinces would be welcomed. Thanks!
