Waddle with Wheezer 2008

I'm Wheezer, and OBR rescued me from an Amish puppy mill when I was 14 weeks
old. The Amish wanted to destroy me because I was sick, and they don't
believe sick puppies are special enough to have vet care or to feel loved.
They only want to sell "perfect" puppies to make lots of money. OBR believes
that all their foster bassets are special and deserve to have vet care,
love, and a forever home. I am now 1 year old, and feeling much better, but
only have one lung, and use oxygen when I have trouble breathing. I have my
forever home as a permanent foster with my foster family who loves me very
much and knows how to care for my medical needs. I feel very loved and I am
forever grateful to Ohio Basset Rescue for knowing that they make a
difference saving one dog at a time.
