[Dailydrool] Melamine - Not in dog food this time, yet

Everyone remember the melamine that was found to be in tainted dog foods?
(wheat & rice glutens/products)  Now its been found in Milk Powder for
Babies, and it causing the same type of problems in babies (in China) that
it was causing in dogs .. kidney failure.

If its in the milk powder for human consumption, I wonder then if anyone has
been taking a closer look at any imported powdered milk products regardless
of any markings for human or animal feeds.

...that link reports that contaminated baby formula *may* have reached the
US.
 
I would hope then, that all animal food producers are also taking stock of
any milk products they use so they can eliminate that as another potential
inroad for melamine in animal feeds.
