Is Copper here in da Sands Dieggos.  We be weading awl abouts da gweat
waddles, and 'toberfeasts, and wambles, and hounds what can get der swabes
to takes dem to obber states to meet new fursfriends.  We libs out heres in
da cauliflowers, what dat mom, oh californias, and der nots be states to go
to what swabes not hab to dribe nickzillion hours.  Eben da odder basset
ebents in da northern calbifornias be eben further aways den oder states!  What
a basset to do's in dis situations?  Momswabe say no to we getting in
airpwane to go to waddles.

Den momswabe tellz us bout da picnic in da Lost Angelees on the 'tober 19,
and dat she take we to dat basset ebent.  We gets all exciteds and we is
getting da selves into best basset formz for dis ebent.  We eben sends da
momswabe out to getz da fancy fish-oilz so we coats be as shinies as dey kin
be.   Copper eben sitz still for da swabe while she chop hims toebones.   After
awl, it berry important we look our berry best when we meets Nigel, and
Lewis, and Brudders Elwood and Jake, and most especially da most glorious
houndett-dogess, Elder Clara.

Den ken you bewive momswabe tell us dey not be comin! What you meanz dey not
be comin? Whys not? Dey swabes well twained, surely dey bring dem. Momswabe
say no, dey not come, NOT EBEN ELDER CLARA! Well Copper  here to say dis not
at awl acceptable. Copper dream of mettin da wondrous Elder Clara and he
puttin his paw down! Momswabe not do anything! Not call Elder Clara swabes
and tell dem bring her, nothing! Moswabe say Elder  Clara lib in da
verginians, and dat bees a long ways.

Momswabe be saying der be lots of hounds at dis ebent, and dat der be plenty
ob beautiful houndetts, but Copper not interested, we heart belong only to
Elder Clara.  Hmf, we going to pout now and possibly chew up momswabe shoes
den blame da puppy.

Momslave- I've explained to both of them that they will get to meet many
wonderful bassets at the picnic, and that we live in a big state and it's
too far to drive to go to all of the waddles and picnics, but they don't
seem to be buying it.  Maybe we can do a "virtual" event.  Does anyone
besides technogeek me have a webcam?
