I told your story about waking up and finding Ruby in your bed and on your pillow, to my husband, Bill, at dinner tonight.  We agreed, "it could happen to us," with Cody, the doxie from next door, who comes over like clockwork, every morning around 8:00.  Thank goodness we don't have a doggy door -- I'm sure he'd come right in, no matter what time it is!  And he would either make himself comfortable . . . or wake us all up with his persistent barking at any noise at all.
