[Dailydrool] NTBHR has buppies!!

Hi!  Mama Vegas here!



"On
March 26, 2009 I found myself being left in a night drop box at an
area animal shelter.  It was the middle of the night and I couldn't
understand why my humans just  left me there!  You see, I was very
pregnant and ready to give birth any day!  I wanted a nice soft bed to
have my puppies, not some cold hard floor. 

However,
the next night I did give birth to seven beautiful little puppies.  No
matter how much I cleaned, licked and cared for them, 3 were just too
weak to survive.   

The
next day, this very nice lady from NTBHR came to pick up me and my 4
healthy puppies!!  She took us all to the vet so they could make sure
everyone was OK.  My puppies are fine, but I have been diagnosed with
heartworms, so once my puppies are weaned, I will have to undergo
painful and expensive treatment to destory the worms that are living in
my heart.

A note from me...the foster mom:
I can't tell you all how excited I am to be able to watch these babies grow.  It broke my heart knowing she was dumped in the night drop box!  Who in the right mind takes a dog in the middle of the night and drops her in the night drop box days before she is to give birth!  We tried to get Vegas out before she had them but were just hours late.  

Be sure to check out their pictures on the shutterfly account.  I still have to do their 4 week photo shoot today but they are PRECIOUS!  We don't know yet if they are purebred but they are looking just like purebred babies!
