Thanks for all the DROOL!

Just picked up Charles from the vet and I am happy to say his whiner feature still works! This is a time when I 'just say yes' to drugs and am giving him antibiotics as well as pain meds and valium to keep him nice and quiet and away from his incision. The vet knows me and even said I can take the stitches out myself as long as I leave them in at least 14 days!

The growth looked benign like his other ones so we are not even going to send it to the pathologist. Frankly, if it is cancerous we don't even want to know as it would not change how we would treat him for the time he has left with us.

So a nice dinner for him in a few hours with organic yogurt, some brown rice and all his meds. Then a little vino for Mom and into bed with us all for a more peaceful night than last night!

Thanks for all the DROOL, keep it coming a few more days and we will be out of the woods! Then I will hit you all up to order a few more BASSETKU books so I can send lotsa monies to House of Puddles and Basset Rescue of Florida!
