I gave up worrying about what my neighbors think a looong time ago. When I 
take all three hounds out on leashes, people drive by and smile. I'm glad 
such a simple thing as three hounds will make them happy. I just hope they 
don't come by when every hound is pulling in a different direction.

But if you really want your hound to obey, try offering a treat. When ours 
decide to sunbathe, as they often do in such hot weather, a treat will make 
them jump up and head for the front door.
