[Dailydrool] Underarm discoloration

Judith,

It sounds like the discoloration you are seeing is likely a yeast infection.
The best way that I have found of treating it is as follows:

1.    Using a cosmetic cotton pad or cotton balls saturated in baby oil,
gently wipe away the brown/black colored gunk.

2.    Wash the area with Sebulex or Oxydex shampoo and dry thoroughly.

3.    If the skin in the area is very moist, wipe it with Bluboro solution
or Blue Ear Treatment solution made with Witch Hazel.  The Gentian Violet in
these solutions serves as an anti-fungal.

4.    Apply Monistat cream to the area and rub in gently.

 

Repeat this daily until the condition improves.
