[Dailydrool] Condolences & others

We send our prayers and crossed paws to the parents of Calypso and Lucille and healing drool to Alex Bladwin.


I received a message from the High Country Basset Rescue that I want to share.
Layla who was a breeder reject because of spina bifida and doesn't have the use of her hind legs is a contestant in the cutest dog competition.   She was adopted by Rebecca who is the secretary for the Rescue.  Layla has wheels and we met her at the High Country Basset Rescue picnic in July.  She is such a sweet little girl and just scampers around over any surface.  I guess since she has never had the use of her hind legs she doesn't realize that she is handicapped.
It would be great for a "special needs" little Basset baby to win her contest, so I hope everyone will vote for her, daily, at:
