Regarding the question about whether dogs can get poison ivy, I had a dog who walked through poison oak and then sat on my lap when I was wearing a swim suit.  The dog was fine, but I was miserable with the poison oak she had picked up on her fur and skin.
 
Second, I'm trying to train Stella Bella.  She has weird anatomy that makes it hard for her to stretch out with front paws straight in a down.  Is this unusual?  What happens when I try for her Canine Good Citizen if she can't really get into a "down" position.
