When Llewis was a little tad and having mega problems getting that rogue leg
to work well enough so that he could at least turn around without falling
over, we went to a re-hab (not drug) specialist here in Illinois. These
people are really fabulous in what they can do. Acupuncture really helped
Llewis. At least for awhile. He loved the sessions-- he got a chiro
adjustment and a massage as well and don't for one moment think this was
free-- but it was worth every penny.
Llewis loved it, and I mean he LOVED it, and he always came home feeling
much better than when he left. It was expensive, it was a long drive, but I
would do it all ovr again, and sometimes I feel guilty that he is not still
getting the massages. I tried to learn but am a flub at it. I know the
massages would make him feel much better, relaxing all those muscles that
tighten up in the course of his compensating for those back legs.
Anyway I am a big fan of acupuncture and massage not so much chiro. My two
cents, worth about nothing in this economy.
