[Dailydrool] Alternative to Rimadyl

Johnny (age 8) has what is called an "elbow mouse" - basically a tiny piece
of bone or cartilage that is free floating in the joint and causing pain.
We had him a Rimadyl for a month or so and it helped but I didn't want him
on it long term. We tried him on a newer med - Zubrin - suppose to have
less side effects than Rimadyl. After one month, his liver enzymes were
slightly elevated so I decided to try a *natural* remedy. Upon the
recommendation of a friend, I started giving him S.O.D. Boswellia - no
limping, no pain - liver enzymes are back to normal. My daughter has a 7
year old boxer who has developed dysplasia and was having trouble with
stairs, getting grumpy with their other boxer etc. Rimadyl was the only
thing that gave him relief but his liver counts were rising. She switched
him to SOD Boswellia and he is doing well --- playing again, going up and
down steps, walking 2 miles a day. Anecdotal but it is working for me. I
heard that it also comes in "human form" --- haven't tried that but I might
for my knees!
