[Dailydrool] More advice please

I have just picked Rolph up from the vet.
He seems much better, but didn't want any food, so clearly he is not well yet.
 
The vet who released him showed me the Xray of his gas-filled tummy and said he was a prime candidate for bloat. he recommended doing a stomach tack.
 
I have read about this on the Drool, but it is very rare in this country. Can I please ask anyone who has had experience with this - good and bad - to share it.
