To the person in Colorado who is dealing with the home owners association....
 
First, I would read your documents to see exactly what they say about pets. If there is a weight limit in place, it doesn't sound like they have enforced it. Do your other neighbors have dogs that are over the weight limit too?  It seems like many times, weight limits are to keep the size of the dogs (large, X-large) out of the community. I wouldn't worry about them coming to each house and weighing your dogs. hee hee  I would ignore it. 
 
If they send a letter to you regarding your dogs, then I would have your doctor write a letter for each of yours, and say they are therapy dogs. The HOA cannot say anything about it after that. There is a website for condo/HOA stuff you might want to look at:
