[Dailydrool] Elmo was atttacked

I won't tell y'all what to do.  I will tell what happened to me:  I used to walk my 2 hounds down my street and over to a nearby park.  One day, we were attacked by a St. Bernard who jumped his fence, ran across the street, and attacked.  My VeeVee got a big gash in her ear before I could get her away.  The owner of this St. Bernard was sitting on his front porch, watching the whole thing.  I yelled at him to get his dog back in the yard and all he said was said "call the police" and sat there staring at me.  My mouth just hung open.  I got back home, doctored up VeeVee.  And called Animal Control.  I had to go down there and file a complaint.  They sent two officers to that guy's house to issue him a fine and a warning; sent me a followup letter stating same.  I never walked that way again, but from my house, I could see that dog running up and down that part of our street, chasing school kids, chasing cars, whatever.  I kept calling Animal Control about that dog.  I'm sure others did too.  Finally, the dog simply disappeared off our street.  I have no idea what happened to it.
