[Dailydrool] Noel walking on 3 legs after surgery AZ Basset Rescue see photos

A big AROOOOO to Nick and Helen for fostering sweet Noel. Noel came in after
being a stray and a kindhearted person found her but couldn't' afford her
medical care. The tumor on her leg was cancerous (sarcoma) and after seeing
vets and a specialist it was agreed by the AZBHR medical review committee
that her leg needed to be removed. So on Wed. Dec 16th she had the leg
removed. Note from foster mom Helen as she brought Noel home today after
surgery: She is up and moving around on her own and getting use to not
having the tumor there anymore. She has some pain medication and
antibiotics. The doctor said that Noel was starting to get an infection
where the tumor was being rubbed raw and it was moving up her leg and if the
leg had not been removed then Noel could have died from the spread of the
infection.


Keep sending prayers and healing drool to Noel.
