Dear Susan,

I'm sorry Gus is shaking.  I strongly suggest you take him to your vet.  Although it might be nothing, it might be something and in this case, the sooner you take him the better. There are many causes for what you describe.  All paws crossed here at basset headquarters for something simple.  Please keep us posted.
