I'm so sorry to hear about Scooter Pie. Waldo had lymphoma and went to the bridge in July 2008. From what my vet told me, it can be one of the "easier" cancers in terms of pain - because of his age (around 14) we decided not to put him through chemo or any other treatment, and even so Waldo was completely symptom-free (aside from the swollen nodes) for 7 months after diagnosis. I'm hoping that this will be the case for Scooter Pie as well.
