[Dailydrool] Our Christmas Wish

Before opening vol. 90, Issue 8, I said a little prayer asking that there would be no sorrow in it.
Alas, poor Cherry had to make her Journey.  Heartfelt condolences have been sent.
Our wish for this Christmas is that the gates to the Bridge be closed for at least one day.
Like everyone here, the Daily Drool is Family to us.  We thank everyone for everything they have done for our wonderful Bassets this past year.
Although tears flow too many times, reading the Drool is a connect with fellow Basset lovers whom, I believe, are special.
2009 was wonderful here.  We were able to foster 2 hounds during the year and best of all, our 3rd foster, Siobhan, is now a permanent member of our little "family".  Indeed, we are Blessed.
Thank you for Basil's newsletter and we wish him comfort.  There are too many to name, but Pierre was special to us, Godspeed, Little One.  Piper, you and King Bob, hang in there.  Miss Penny and Miss Polly take care of each other and your Mom.
So our Christmas Wish is good health, long lives and homes for all of the homeless Bassets,
Merry Christmas, Merry, Merry Christmas to All.
