[Dailydrool] Birthdays and scrotal hernias

Our Hadley developed a scrotal hernia (I'm female but that just makes me
think "ouch") that ended his promising show career shortly after his first
birthday.  He came to live with us at the age of 2, a big beautiful hunk of
hound, and on New Year's Day will celebrate his twelfth birthday!  And I
can't forget to wish Happy Birthday to his best basset buddy, Toby, who has
been with us since puppyhood and turns 12 on January 3rd!  Happy Birthday to
both of my good ol' basset boys!  And best wishes to Bluegrass Basset
Rescue's little buppy who needs surgery.  Hang in there, little fella.
