[Dailydrool] New Year Drool for Sally

Sally could use a little bit of healing drool if you could spare it. She's
ringing in the new year with a sleepover at the vet tonight :-(

I had to take her to the doctor lady this afternoon after she had a tussle
with her brother, Beau. Not sure exactly what happened, but one moment all
was quiet and the next it was fury of wrestling and teeth and suddenly Sally
had a mouth that wouldn't stop bleeding.

We just got the call from the Dr. that Beau's teeth must've scraped off
Sally's gums near her lower left rear molar, exposing the root and of
course, causing it to bleed uncontrollably. They had to put her under,
remove the three-rooted tooth, and stitch her back up. Oh, and of course
give her a bath because she was covered in blood. My poor baby girl.

Poor Beau has been wandering around the house like a depressed lost puppy
since Sally left him. He doesn't understand what's happening.

Sigh ... these dogs! So if anyone has a little extra drool to spare for
Sally's speedy recovery into the new year, we'd appreciate it :-)  Off to
boil up some chicken and rice for the Sallybeans when she returns home
tomorrow morning, fingers crossed.
