[Dailydrool] Baths

It was warm here today for Illinois.  It was warm enough to give baths so we did.  I've never given four baths before.  I didn't today either.  The DH and I washed Marley and Ninja outside.  It wasn't quite warm enough.  Especially when the bathers get wetter than the bathees.  Nic decided he would do Maggie and Shelby.  In our bathtub.  We had a blowdryer outside to help warm up the first two.  They liked the warm but not the sound.  They stayed wet most of the afternoon.  
 
Nic got Maggie and Shelby bathed with a mimum of fuss.  Shelby liked it so much that she rolled over for a belly rub in the tub.  She is the most docile girl.  Maggie is our big girl.  She loved the bath until Nic tried to rinse her off.  She did get rinsed, all of her.  She is now asleep on my foot.  All of the girls are in here asleep.  They are just tuckered out.  I feel bad that the first two got their baths with cold water but they lived and they got nice towel rubdowns too.  
 
I have to give Nic a lot of credit.  He is very good with them. He can pick all of them up and he carries Shelby up to bed every night.  She has learned to climb two stairs but not the rest.  There is a small landing after the first two stairs so she can get up there and sit now.  Something else to trip over on the stairs.  
 
I've had time to make some "dog" food this week and some biscuits.  They really like it when I do.  Even one of the two leggers who asked me if the rice stuff was for the dogs, after he ate some of it.  They'll eat anything that isn't nailed down around here.  It was just rice, vegetables, and turkey.  It was enjoyed by human and beastie.
 
It hasn't been a very exciting day here but we are all clean, fed, and snoring.  Just another day in paradise.
 
Snooters and drool from Ninja--I hate cold water and baths and hairdryers.
Marley--I hate cold stuff too and I really hate ear washies. Do it again and I show my teeth.
Maggie--I like baffies in warm water.  I like rubbies but not rinsies.  
Shelby--It felt so good I needed a bewwy rub.  Warm water and bewwy rubs are great stuffs.  Almost as good as foodies.
And Mom who be smelling whiffs of wet dog for days.
