[Dailydrool] depressed

I am very depressed. I will make this Basset related by saying that I am
sure these things happen in Basset rescue as well.
Some months ago I noticed a purebred Viszla bitch in our "stray" ward. I had
her spayed, tested for heartworm, vaccinated and sent her off to Viszla
rescue.
When I checked on her several weeks later they said she had "severe
separation anxiety". I began to have some anxiety myself.
I just checked again and they have put her down. Somehow, I knew that's what
they were going to end up doing.
Phooey.
I am sure it is not anything they could prevent, sure they did everything
they could, but.
