It's me again - Norm!
I have got to tell you --- my Dad is weird. Last night he we glued to the
big black box, watching some Stupor Bowl thing. It didn't even have any
animals in it, although I must admit some of those guys looked kind of
scary. Then this morning, he was watching the big black box again. This
time he was watching a groundhog with some guy in a tuxedo. After that Dad
was all grumpy. He kept saying #$%$ snow, I am tired of winter! Mom was
kind of bummed out too. She likes the snow but would like Dad outside
riding his tractor more. Mom explained that if the groundhog guy sees his
shadow today, then we are getting 6 more weeks of winter. WHERE DO PEOPLE
COME UP WITH THIS STUFF???
Anyway, I decided to make my February poem about Groundhog Day. Here it is
- hope you like it!
GROUNDHOG DAY CINQUAIN

Cold, snowy
Waiting, Watching, Hoping
