[Dailydrool] Duke High Kill Shelter Holmes County OH-- RESCUED!

Thank you to all of you who sent emails and left voice messages regarding Duke in the high kill shelter in Holmes county Ohio. I spoke with the shelter this morning and Duke is on hold for us to pick him up tomorrow morning. She said he was relinquished by the daughter of a guy who had to go into a nursing home. There were 6 dogs all of them hounds. She was very sad to have to part with Duke because he was her father's favorite and he had the best personality. Unfortunately, she couldn't take any more dogs herself due to rental restrictions. The shelter worker said they would be happy to know he was going to basset rescue.
