I saw the mention of the singing Basset Hound at the Slobber Shoppe and 
thought it would be a great gift for a friend.  Wrong!  It was a great 
gift - a much needed gift - for ME!

My husband is sick and I'm tired.  Plus Valentine's Day is coming up and 
it's...well, let's say that I work and sleep and that's all I manage to do.

This adorable, laid back hound is just what I needed to perk up and feel 
better.  Singing "Don't Worry, Be Happy" and tapping his foot, makes me 
smile and I realize how much worse other people have it right now.

So, if you are down in the dumps, or if you know someone who is, this is the 
perfect picker-upper.  I ordered it just a few days ago and it's already 
sitting behind the counter in the store, watching the customers.  I reach 
back and push the button and feel better and have a smile on my face.
