[Dailydrool] Deer Aint Peggy (book) and teeth cleaning

I've just stumbled across this book - has anyone read it?  It looks good!

Also, Morse hates his teeth being cleaned.  I keep reading that its a good idea to get your dog used to his teeth being brushed, but Morse takes off when he sees me reaching for the toothpaste.  Any ideas how to make him accept it and like it, rather than taking cover under the nearest tree?
