Dear Renee,

We are all sorry to hear that Mabel had to go.  Sounds like she had a loving home.  Bless her on her journey.

It's me again - Norm!

Hey - heads up everybody - they came! I got a package from Fed Ex today and
guess what was in it? You will never guess? MY JUMPERS! I'll bet you
thought I was going to say my brains but they haven't arrived yet, at least
that is what Mom says. But my jumpers did arrive! I have been keeping a
deep, dark and embarrassing secret. I couldn't even jump up onto the
couch!
Opie - now he is a different story! He is like Tigger, bouncing - bouncing
- jumping - hopping everywhere. But me, Mom says I am a lead butt. I
don't
think that is very nice, do you? She *does* say I am a handsome lead butt
but I still don't think it is very nice. Dad got out my Grampa Morey's
stool that Dad made him when Morey was 2348098 nickzillion years old and had
trouble jumping up on the couch. I have used that for all this time to get
on the couch or on Mom's lap. But now I don't have to use it anymore
'coz
my jumpers arrived! YEAH!

Drools to ya!

Where Dyson's are concerned peridically you need to just put the Dyson on
it's side and sit down and just pull fibers off the long roller. I never
disconnect anything. I have been doing this since another Dyson owner mentioned
it to me. If mine make a weird sound I do this and I have never had any problem
with mine and I have had it I guess since 2004. I will say I like the Animal the
best. My mom gave me the animal hand-held for Christmas and I like it a lot for
quick jobs. I'm a [very] happy Dyson Animal owner. I use mine at least every
other day. Words cannot describe the animal hair in our home. Lisa,Wednesday and

Did someone from the drool rescue the pretty two year old girl in the San
Angelo shelter that Carmen posted about? I went to look at her, and her
listing has been removed....just wondering.

I don't blame you for venting Bev! I would have
lost my job had it been me. I guess my kidz are
quite spoiled. Ruby Doo is a Husky/Shepherd cross
(Empress Supreme of the Gang) with a thick coat
and has never lived outside. Not that it gets that cold here.
Even on the nights that it is in the upper 40's
when she decides she wants to sleep on the closed in porch
on one of the beds, I make her come in.

Hmmm maybe would should put the "owners" (they can't be slaves)
outside with a long sleeved shirt, not a heavy one at that.
I hope that Dobie will be okay...and that the people were
turned in.

Anybody else see those AKC Uno games? I found one about a year ago, the
non-sporting group, and have also seen herding group, terriers and sporting
dogs. Anyone heard if they were going to make a hound group deck?

WE are sad today.? About 5 today our vet came and helped Mabel to the bridge.?
She was 14 yrs,? 3 months old.? She went into renal failure and we could not
reverse it.? I adopted her 10 months ago.? She was shy and very much a loner
when we got her, but in the past few months, she warmed up and would spend most
of her time everywhere we were.? She accepted this as her forever home and knew
she was safe.? She went to the bridge peaceful.? Her favorite thing was food.? I
hope they have plenty at the banquet table.?? Thank you to everyone who sent me
well wishes for her.? I was happy to have shared life with her,? she taught me
so ?much. She will forever be in my heart.? God speed my Mabel.

Thanks to all of you who sent suggestions for names for this 11mo old...
ummm... ill mannered child! I have reviewed some outstanding names.
For the really distinguished names... well, I looked at him & he was trying
to do an unspeakable act to the cat, (poor 23 yr old cat!) so distinguised
is out.
Didn't want one he would live up to... Barkley (does that enough!) Rebel
(yup he's that too!)
So without further ado (drum roll please!) May we present: ****dum da da

Calvin - from Calvin & Hobbs cartoon as Calvin NEVER listens to the wiser
Hobbs (which would be Spencer) & always gets in trouble
Hugo - H -ey yoU GO away and leave the cat alone (thank you Penny's mom!)

& he is
responsible" (thank you Judy!)

Dear Renee,

I am so sorry that Mabel's time to leave for the bridge came so quickly. I
am so glad that you were there for her to show her what being loved and cared
for really means. You gave her the precious gift of all, a forever earthly home
where she was loved and free to love back without reservation. I truly believe
that our babies, be they human or critters are just on loan to us to teach us to
open our hearts and not be afraid to love.

One more angel has arrived at the bridge to belly up to the ever bountiful
buffet, to run, to play, to nap and to feel the love of God while she waits for
the day when you are once again reunited. I know that there is one more star
burning brightly in the night sky to light Mabel's journey to the Rainbow
Bridge.

The Gang is sending you heart healing drool and as many comforting hugs as you
need.
Run free Mabel with your ears blowing in the wind.
