[Dailydrool] Mutiny, Full Moon and Nail Clipping

Last week I had a mutiny on my hands. One of the droolers suggested it
might be because of the full moon. Well, I had to chase the dogs all
week to get them in the kennels. Tuesday morning rolls around and I am
expecting to have to chase them down. When low and behold, everyone of
the furbabies is in their kennel waiting for their treat. I guess the
moon has moved on to the next phase.

I had another funny experience last week. My basset boy Drake hates to
wear anything other than his collar. One night last week, I put a
t-shirt on him at bed time. I put him in bed and he jumped out. We
went through this 5 or 6 times. I asked if he needed to potty, no, eat,
no, drink no. He just stomped his front feet and whined. I finally
removed the t-shirt, he jumped in bed and dove under the covers. Crazy
hound, I guess he likes to sleep al natural.

Nail trimming is so traumatic for him that he shrieks like he's lost a
limb when I trim the other dogs nails. Imagine my surprise when I put
the t-shirt on him this weekend, grabbed the clippers and trimmed all
his nails in less than 15 minutes. Not a whimper, not a shriek and no
fighting. He was the perfect gentleman. How did that happen?
