[Dailydrool] Being guilt tripped into Basset ownership

Hi Paul,

I started out with one boy Basset and ended up getting another (a girl)
to keep him company because they are very social pack animals who, for
the most part, prefer not to be alone.  I'm sure most of the people on
this list will agree when I say that two is really not that much more
expensive than one.  If you are a person who works or is away from home
a lot, it is preferable to have more one.  If that is just not possible
for whatever reason, you should contact your local Basset rescue and
have them pull this boy from the shelter so he will have a chance at
finding a home.  I personally would take them both, but that is just my
opinion.
