[Dailydrool] MBR's Harvey to the Bridge

Just wanted to let everyone know that Melissa and Jo from MBR lost their beautiful 6 year old Basset Harvey to cancer. There was no warning and it was Thursday morning when Melissa  noticed Harvey's bum looked wet around his anus so she cleaned it with baby wipes and noticed some blood and it was extremely red. Melissa immediately started praying for an anal glad problem and called the vet. 

In a matter of a few hours Harvey went from being a healthy active goofy boy of 6 years old to a young man that was full of cancer and was having trouble breathing . X-rays showed a growth in his rectum and massive mass in his chest pushing his windpipe way over from where it should be. Harvey was brought home to be with his family Thursday evening  and today (Friday) his vet let Harvey go to the bridge while being surrounded by friends, family and his houndies brothers and sister at home.

Melissa and Jo and family are in a state of shock and asking why? why? How could this happen? Harvey had just turned six years old Jan 28th. His vet said that Harvey was the most stoic dog she had every met because he had been so sick but never every showed even a hint of a problem. 

Neither  Melissa and Jo were ready to say goodbye but they could not let themselves let Harvey suffer. Words cannot even begin to explain the anguish cries and emotions that are being felt today in Michigan
