Isn't this the truth! I swear the only thing that kept me from  
killing young Charlie every day when he was a puppy (especially the  
day when he decided to chew on the corner of my harp) was how very  
cute he looked when he was snuggled up asleep on my lap at the end of  
the day. I well remember looking down on his sweet fuzzy puppy face  
and feeling him breathing slowly and evenly in my arms and thinking,  
"Well, maybe I'll let you live another day after all."
