[Dailydrool] trouble with my Dyson Animal

By internal filter, do you mean the round metal thing that the plastic round
container attaches to? If yes, that's normal if you have a whooole lot of
hair and dirt. We have lots here, 4 cats and 2 Bassets shedding everywhere
and tromping in mud and leaves and grass and you name it. Every time I
sweep I fill the canister to the brim -- so I empty the plastic canister by
popping the bottom, then I remove the canister and wipe everything off the
metal part with my hand, then I bang the metal thing against my hand a few
times to knock more dirt out, then put it all back together. My guess is,
what you're worrying about is what makes Dysons so great - they do an
unbelievably good job and clean more dirt and hair than any other vacuum
I've every owned. I love my Dyson!!

Subject: [Dailydrool] trouble with my Dyson Animal
I have the Dyson Animal (purple one) vacuum and lately have had a problem
with the dog hair getting caught up on the internal filter rather than going
into the cannister. Does anyone else who has this vacuum have this problem?
I had my husband use an air compressor to blow the vacuum out thinking it
was clogged somewhere but now everytime I vacuum, I end up with a ton of dog
hair on the filter itself where it shouldn't be and never was before.. This
was too expensive of a vacuum to toss so I'm hoping someone has an easy
solution. Help. I'm drowning in dog hair.!!
