[Dailydrool] fans on dogs

While I am not disputing the authenticity of your information, I do
respectfully submit that MY dogs are much more comfortable with a fan on
hot days.  In the van at a show on a hot day with the doors open,
they still are more content with a fan, and at home on a hot day, the
house-seniors will all sleep in front of the fan, even if it means
sleeping on the floor instead of one of their beds.  (except when our
Levi was alive - he woud drag his bed to in front of the fan to get the
best of both worlds).

I have not kept up to date on the
specific case you mention, it is my understanding that the dogs were left
in an OPEN van in a garage at night with fans.  I understand the
woman involved is very upset by the loss of the dogs and I don't believe
she acted irresponsibly.  Perhaps she could have used better
judgement - I don't know.  I know I do leave my dogs in an open van
at night with or without fans in the summer when traveling.
