[Dailydrool] Miss Bossy Boots

I remember when Babe started to "demand" something here at the house. I get
Meals on Wheels, and most of my drivers bring snacks for the kids. One
driver in particular brings really good snacks, the bacon looking kind. Babe
LOVED them. One day, Babe wanted her snack RIGHT NOW, and Cathy was trying
to get across the kitchen. Babe was jumping up and down. Finally, I heard my
wife say "just hang on a minute, Miss Bossy Boots! I thought that was really
funny at the time. Little did I know......

Last fall, we took the advice that we had seen on the Drool, and we got each
Hound a Carrier, or kennel, to be in while we are gone. We did it for
several reasons, one of the foremost being Arnie's arthritis. The wind chill
was just too much for him.........poor little guy. I am not gone very much,
as I am pretty much home bound anymore. I still go to church, and Bible
Study when I feel up to it. I also go to the doctor, you get the idea.

I was not real surprised when I came home drom town the first time since
keeping them inside, and the boys were barking, Boomer was Ahrooing in the
house..................ugh! I told the boys that sissy gets out 1st. I was
very surprised a couple of months ago when she started barking when I got
home. She doesn't talk much. She is very shrill, and short, She wants what
she wants NOW!!. Good grief....She's so funny!!

I remember when her foster parents dropped her off here. She hid under the
desk sin the office for several months, coming out to eat and potty only.
She had been beaten and abused. She was afraid of her own shadow, poor
thing! We just loved her, and spent time with her, and loved her, and spent
time with her. She quickly became Daddy's Girl, much to the consternation of
Boomer.

I told Cathy, I said see, she is a Bassey Hound. Our Babers, Barking and
carrying on like she runs the place. It WAS cute at the start...I'm not sure
if she developed this trait of Demanding things, or if Boomer and Arnie have
been a bad influence on her, OR: Clara, have you been over here teaching my
sweet innocent daughter all these annoying OEBE traits? I bet that she
called you to complain about the boys, and you told her to give me a hassle
too........
