   Hondas may not be the BUV of choice for folks who want a lot of room for themselves or their hounds, but it is pretty darned difficult to lock yourself out of a Honda. The driver's door only locks with a key, with a radio-frequency key fob (assuming that ALL the doors are closed) or with a two-handed maneuver that is almost impossible to manage if you aren't paying attention. 

   I know there are some Honda Element and Odyssey drivers out there in Drool land, so of course there are a few Honda models that are roomy enough to hold crates and hounds or multiple hounds in seat belts.
