Bone jour, Miss Penny and Miss Polly woofin' in from Fwance.
Hey, can we play this game too? We travel LOTS (da mum hates flying!
hehehehe!). You must work out yourselves from Kms to Miles, we are not
that clever! Since we have been living here we must have been to the UK
at least a nickzillion times (make that 10 times) and each way is 1800
kms. We also had to follow da mum on her behaviourist course - 12 x 900
kms last fall and winter. Then, last year we went all the way up to the
North Pole (well, not really it was North Cape - AND WE SAW SANTA).
That was over 10,000 kms round trip. We've been all over France, well a
bit of it and we've been to Italy.
However, da La Pw Misty was an international jet setter (no planes
involved) - she visited the UK, Spain, Sardinia, Italy, France, Germany,
Austria, Holland, Belgium, Luxembourg and ... we can't remember any
more. Her predecessor, Nouschka, who was a setterX did all that and
more - Greek Island cruise, Turkey, Portugal .... AND they even wanted
to buy her in Bulgaria, but that's another story !!!! However, sadly,
she never made it to the UK - quarantine laws obliged at the time <sigh>.
Going back to the memory thread: after her training mum supposes that
she should not agree but .... Misty definitely had a memory. When da
grandmum was visiting once she was in a wheelchair. Da grandmum looked
after Misty when she was a baby (Misty, that is, was a baby) and they
always had a special link. Anyway, after that, EVERY time Misty saw a
wheelchair she pulled and pulled to go and see if it was her grandmum!!!
Well, bone nuit to you all and hugs to all and drool to those in need.
da mum says she'll get back into her thesis soon - promise. She's
updated all the cards on her website and she has LOTS of doubles if you
are interested. www.bassettissimmo.com. We are off to babysit two pugs
on saturday for a week - wheeeeeeeeeeeee means we get to have a
garden!!!!!!
