[Dailydrool] Bo has Boogers.....

hi

I was wondering if any of you droolers have had experience with a dog who has a snotty nose.  I know he could have allergies etc. but I just don't know what to expect when I take him to the vet.  The poor thing has a chronic  booger problem, and his skin is starting to crack around the edges of his nose.  Should I put something on it?  (udder cream etc.) until he sees the vet?  Thanks for any help or input.
