I'm sorry if my note sounded perjorative. I didn't mean to criticize you, 
since you added all the extra protection for your hounds. I was just afraid 
that some other person might read your note and decide it was OK to leave 
the windows half open--without your additional protections.

With two twelve-year-old hounds, I still think I will err on the safe side, 
but I didn't mean that note to be as critical as it obviously sounded.
