i made the mistake of looking at some of the basset rescue sites and 
now, of course, i want to adopt.

BUT

i live in Vancouver Canada.  bassets are pretty rare here and i've 
yet to see any in the various shelters.

how open are the various basset rescues to 'out of town' adoptions?

if they do it, how do they handle it?

is there some sort of underground basset transport?
