[Dailydrool] Basset Hounds from the puppy mill raid in North Texas - need to get 2 seniors to Daphneyland

A couple of weeks ago there was a raid on a puppy mill that has been in business for over 30 years.  There were over 500 dogs seized from Maggic Pets / Heddins Kennel in North Texas, many of them Basset Hounds.   Here is a link to the story if anyone wishes to read the entire article....

North Texas Basset Hound Rescue has coordinated with other rescue groups to take all the Basset Hounds.  I don't know all of the other rescue groups involved, but do know that Arizona is involved and that Dawn at Daphneyland has agreed to take 2 older females, ages 8 and 10.  Both of these girls weigh about 40 lbs b/c these people bred what they called Mini/Toy Basset Hounds.

If anyone can help get these 2 seniors from North Texas to Daphneyland in California please contact Dawn offlist.
